Jarratt’s professional career began when he was accepted as a trader within a very small, start up hedge fund, based in Hong Kong. After six months he was granted his first $1 million account and was quickly promoted to head of FX based on his trading performance.
He left the fund in 2010 to trade his own account and begin his own managed accounts business, trading for high net worth individuals from around the world.
In 2012, due to the changing nature of the global regulatory environment, in response to the global financial crisis of 2008, Jarratt joined a professional investment firm in the city of
London, which is part of a group that is fully FCA regulated and manages over $250million in assets from around the world. So he was able to offer his clients his managed account programme as a fully regulated product in the UK.
In 2014, Jarratt was once again promoted, this time to head of trading and strategy, with the task of expanding the trading team and opening up the repertoire of programmes to a more diverse array of strategies.
His main role is now focused on working with each trader to provide support and guidance with their day to day trading, while using his experience in the industry to raise capital, promote the programmes that he endorses and contributes to, and launch and manage new investment vehicles away from the traditional managed account model.
Jarratt is also one of the co founders and major contributor to the Trader Management training programme, that seeks to train and educate graduate traders into the business, with the goal of bringing through new traders and strategies that can be used to manage client capital.
In 2015, as part of their marketing strategy, investment firm and Jarratt agreed to allow this exact same training to be made available, in an on-line format, to retail traders from around the world in order to gain massive exposure for the investment arm of the business and further develop the array of clients under management.
