   Would you be watching the crack spread too? Currently the (42*RB-1*CL) spread is down to about 12, from about 18 in Sept. (RB stands for RBOB, or gasoline).
   Also, another possibility is to long front month and short back month (calendar spreads) or vice versa.

     From Pat:

     I would be watching the crack spread…. I think going into a high demand season the crack will have good potential into the beginning of 2017. The petroleum status report will be a good measure to see if the products are being consumed at a strong pace.
